I would like here to explore the real reason why a PLAYER want to become a student when they are already a PLAYER. Sounds confusing? ok, let me clarify a little.
When a PLAYER decides to become a student he/she realizes, he/she needs help somehow. Unfortunately, I believe most players think to know what to do or what they need. Most players come to my office at the PLAYERS School of Music with this strange french word, saying: Vicky, I hit a “Plateau” . Plateau exactly means: a period or state of little or no growth or decline: to reach a plateau in one’s career, for example. What happens is that the student has a misperception of his own selfperception “as a player”.
There is a discrepancy or gap between what he/she actually thinks they can do versus what he/she actually can do. How to clarify “that” is the question!. Many times when a student finds that they need to study in a unpredicted way, many quit the quest because the reality was very different than what they thought it would require. Sometimes much more time & effort is require to get out of the plateau.
At The PLAYERS School of Music we will gently guide the student to align with our plan to get him/her out of the proverbial plateau. PLAYERS School will take the student by the hand and letting him/her discover what is true and help him/her explore his/her creativity.
For example, during his/her first Semester at The Players School of Music the student will be learning and adapting to new ways of thinking and erasing old habits. Re-training your musical muscle all the way is all we do here.
I invite you to join our musical boot camp! 😀
It would be great if I get your feedback!
