Players School Graduate – 2004
I remember looking at many schools before I committed to the PLAYERS School of Music. In fact the only reason that I chose it was because it claimed that I didn’t need “to qualify to learn there,” (through an audition) that the faculty could take me where I was and help me grow. I walked into the school in 2002 barely reading bass clef and chord symbols and with nothing more than bad playing/practicing habits that none of my previous teachers cared to address.
Well, 12 years after the fact, I can honestly say that choosing PLAYERS School of Music was the best choice that I made, not only for my musical education, but for my personal growth as well. I originally committed for the 40 week program but by the end of the first month I knew that I needed to be there for the 80 week program.
I am eternally grateful to everybody that I met and studied with while I was there; faculty and students alike. There is simply no better learning environment around. Happy 20th Anniversary Players School!!! Here’s to another 20 – at least!
