Tampa
The City of Tampa offers attractions and theme parks such as Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Lowry Park Zoo, M.O.S.I. and Florida Aquarium. Tampa is also home to popular nightlife districts such as Channelside, International Plaza and Bay Street and Ybor City. The Ybor City Historic District is a National Historic Landmark located northeast of Tampa’s downtown. The district contains more than 950 historic buildings and now it’s a popular tourist center with historical sites, clubs and restaurants of every description, and all kinds of entertainment to enjoy. The local music scene hosts a large club scene where Rock, Jazz, Blues, and Latin music are featured.
Clearwater
The Clearwater area showcases attractions such as museums, amazing natural parks, the Heritage Village, concerts at the Ruth Eckerd Hall ( right next door to PLAYERS School of Music Campus.) Clearwater Beach is regularly voted one of the top ten beach communities in the nation. Our beaches and islands are gorgeous in their pristine beauty. Stunning sunsets, a safe living environment, and fresh seafood from the Gulf of Mexico are all wonderful reasons that make Clearwater a good place to come and study music. Each year, the City of Clearwater also puts on The Clearwater Jazz Festival where many international bands play for the local audience.
